Οι ερευνητές βρήκαν σήμερα ένα από τα δύο μαύρα κουτιά του Boeing 787 της Air India που συνετρίβη την Πέμπτη σε κατοικημένη συνοικία της πόλης Αχμενταμπάντ, στη βορειοδυτική Ινδία, με αποτέλεσμα να χάσουν τη ζωή τους τουλάχιστον 265 άνθρωποι. "Ο καταγραφέας των δεδομένων της πτώσης (FDR) βρέθηκε", επιβεβαίωσε ο υπουργός Αεροπορίας Ραμ Μοχάν Ναϊντού Κιντζαραπού στον λογαριασμό του στην πλατφόρμα Χ. "Πρόκειται για ένα σημαντικό βήμα στην έρευνα για τα αίτια του δυστυχήματος". Το αεροσκάφος συνετρίβη την Πέμπτη σε λιγότερο από ένα λεπτό μετά την απογείωσή του στις 13.39 τοπική ώρα (11.39 ώρα Ελλάδας) με προορισμό το αεροδρόμιο Γκάτγουικ του Λονδίνου, σύμφωνα με την ινδική πολιτική αεροπορία. Κατευθυνόταν προς το αεροδρόμιο Γκάτγουικ, νότια της βρετανικής πρωτεύουσας.
